New at the Library this week:
New in the library for adult fiction is another western by William Johnstone: “The Devil to Pay”, the 5th in the Kerrigans, a Texas Dynasty series. Adult nonfiction includes “Creating a Rich & Meaningful Life in Long-Term Care: a Guide for Family Caregivers and Elderly Care Professionals” by Mary Ann Konarzewski that includes practical tips and tools for designing programs and many uplifting stories from her two decades of experience in long-term care.
For the juniors we have “George” by Alex Gino, a story about gender identity — George, who people see as a boy, knows she’s a girl and sets out to show everyone who she really is when she wants a female part in the school play; and “Forever, or a Long, Long Time” by Caela Carter about a brother and sister that lived in so many foster homes, they can’t remember where they came from and struggle with the future when they are finally adopted. Stop in and check us out.
New magazines are Smithsonian, Woodworking Crafts, Natural History, People, Sports Illustrated, American Patchwork and Quilting, Christianity Today and Consumer Reports.
We have also added many donated DVD’s to our movie selection. We are developing quite a variety.
