New at the Library this week:
New in the library for adult fiction are “Past Tense: a Jack Reacher Novel” by Lee Child; “The Christmas Revelation” by Anne Perry; “The Amish Christmas Letters” which includes three stories by three cousins scattered across the country sharing their blessings and revealing romantic surprises: “Marybeth’s Circle Letter” by Patricia Davids, “Love Delivered” by Sarah Price, and “Sealed With a Kiss” by Jennifer Beckstrand; “Forty Days Without Shadow: an Arctic Thriller” by Oliver Truc; and in large print there’s “The Forbidden Door: a Jane Hawk Novel” by Dean R. Koontz, and “Every Breath” by Nicholas Sparks.
For nonfiction adult we have “Turner Classic Movies: Christmas in the Movies: 30 Classics to Celebrate the Season” by Jeremy Arnold that includes commentary, behind-the-scenes stories, and photographs spanning eight decades of Christmastime favorite movies; and “Women of the Blue & Gray: True Civil War Stories of Mothers, Medics, Soldiers, and Spies” by Marianne Monson.
For the young adult there’s “Beastly Bones”, the second book of the Jackaby novels by William Ritter.
