New at the Library this week:


New in the library for adult “A Gathering Place: A Cape Light Novel” by Thomas Kinkade; “Where the River Ends” by Charles Martin; “Amish Celebration” by Christian writer Beth Wiseman; “The Beloved Christmas Quilt:  Three Stories of Family, Romance, and Amish Faith: by Wanda Brunstetter and 2 others; and in large print there’s “An Amish Heirloom”, four different stories by Amy Clipston and 3 others, “An Amish Summer: Four Novellas” by Shelley Shepard Gray and 3 others, “Portrait of a Sister” by Laura Bradford, and “Beauchamp Hall” by Danielle Steel.

Adult nonfiction includes “Godwink Christmas Stories:  Discover the Most Wondrous Gifts of the Season” by Squire D. Rushnell; “Atlas of the North American Indian” by Carl Waldman; the autobiography “Becoming” by Michelle Obama, a very intimate and inspiring memoir by the former First Lady of the United States; and three biographies by North Dakota author Lela Atwood Peterson:  “Selma: Swedish Fortitude on the North Dakota Frontier”, “Pencil Shavings: Growing Up in a One-Room Country School on the North Dakota Prairie”, and “A House Divided:  One Family’s Struggle at the Dawn of the Twentieth Century”.

Two new adult audio books are “In Too Deep: Dive Team Investigations” by Lynn H. Blackburn and “Beauchamp Hall” by Danielle Steel.   A new adult DVD’s is “America’s 58 National Parks:  The Complete Collector’s Edition”.

For the juniors we have books 3, 4, and 5 of the Dog Man series by Dav Pilkey:  “A Tale of Two Kitties”, “Dog Man and Cat Kid”, and “Lord of the Fleas”.  In junior nonfiction there’s “Why Oh Why are Deserts Dry?” by Tish Rabe.

For the younger children we have “Coyote Christmas: A Lakota Story” by S.D. Nelson; “Quincy the Quail Leads his Family on an Adventure” by Barbara Renner; and “The Tumbleweed Came Back” by Carmela LaVigna Coyle.   So come on in and check us out.
