New Titles at the Library:

New at the Library this week:

New in the library for adult fiction are “Threads of Deceit” and “Pattern of Betrayal, books 1 and 2 of the Vineyard Quilt Mysteries by May Foe; “Dog Gone Shame” by Susan Sleeman, book 5 in the Creative Woman Mystery series; The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margaret Atwood, about a dystopian future where environmental disasters and declining birthrates have led to a Second American Civil War; “Strands of Truth” by Coleen Coble; “I’ll Never Tell” by Catherine McKenzie; “Robert B. Parker’s the Bitterest Pill”, a Jesse Stone novel by Reed Farrel Coleman; Christian fiction novels “Livvie’s Song”, “Ellie’s Haven”, and “Sofia’s Secret”, books 1, 2, and 3 in the River of Hope series by Sharlene MacLaren; and “Summer on Sunset Ridge”, “Their Daring Hearts”, and “A Love to Behold”, books 1, 2, and 3 in the Forever Freedom series also by Sharlene MacLaren; and in western fiction there’s “Blue Horse Mesa” and “Poacher’s Moon” by John D. Nesbitt.

 

In young adult we have the first four books in the Fairy Tale Reform School series by Jen Calonita:  “Flunked”, “Charmed”, “Tricked”, and “Switched”.

 

For junior fiction there’s “Astro-Nuts: Mission One:  The Plant Planet, #1 in the Astronuts series by Jon Scieszka; and “Oh, Rats!” by Tor Seidler.  Junior biography includes “Just Like Beverly” by Vicki Conrad about Beverly Cleary, one of the most famous children’s authors of all time; “Monument Maker:  Daniel Chester French and the Lincoln Memorial” by Linda Booth Sweeney.

 

For the younger children we have “Snack Attack!” by Terry Border; “Unicorns 101” by Cale Atkinson; and “Alfred’s Book of Monsters” by Sam Streed.  So come on in and check us out.

 

New magazines are Ranger Rick, Christianity Today, North Dakota Outdoors, The Writer, Prevention, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Mayo Clinic Health Letter, Mother Earth News, Good Housekeeping, Eating Well, People, Family Handyman and Birds & Blooms.
