New at the Library this week:
We have a new series about sports geared to the early reader. One book is included about each of these sports: baseball, basketball, dance, football, gymnastics, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, swimming and wrestling.
A nonfiction addition to the adult section is Stephen Ambrose’s “Band of Brothers”, the classic New York Times bestseller and inspiration for the acclaimed HBO series about Easy Company, the ordinary men who became the World War II’s most extraordinary soldiers at the frontlines of the war’s most critical moments.
Some of the new adult fiction items include “Parakeet” by Marie-Helene Bertino; “The Wanted” by Robert Crais; “Distant Memory” by Traci DePree; “Bright Side of Going Dark” by Kelly Harms; “28 Summers” by Elin Hilderbrand; “Tom Clancy Firing Point” by Mike Maden; “Your Blue is Not My Blue” by Aspen Matis; “With Open Arms” by Patricia Rushford; and “The Red Hat Club Rides Again” by Haywood Smith.
We have Lisa Wingate’s three book Tending Roses Series, including the titles “Tending Roses”, “Good Hope Road” and “The Language of Sycamores”.
“Anger is My Middle Name: A Memoir” by Lisbeth Zornig Andersen and “Untamed” by Glennon Doyle are additions to the adult biography section.
New magazines this week include Eating Well, Family Handyman, Family Tree, Good Old Days, Health, Readers Digest, Horse Illustrated, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Birds & Blooms, Time, People, and North Dakota Outdoors.
