New Titles at the Library:

Adult fiction additions to the stacks are “Jingle All the Way” by Debbie Macomber; “The Brightest Star” by Fern Michaels; “One Bright Christmas” by Katherine Spencer; and “The Christmas Table” by Donna VanLiere. These large print books have a holiday theme, so if you enjoy that genre, these are for you.

New to the junior fiction stacks is an eight volume adventure series The BrotherBand Chronicles by John Flanagan with titles “The Caldera”, “The Ghostfaces”, “The Hunters”, “The Invanders”, “The Outcasts”, “Return of the Remujal”, “Slaves of Socorro” and “Scorpion Mountain. From Amazon: They are outcasts – Hal, Stig, and the others – they are the boys the others want no part of. Skandians, as any reader of Ranger’s Apprentice could tell you, are known for their size and strength. Not these boys. Yet that doesn’t mean they don’t have skills…and courage. This promises to be another popular series.

New magazines this week include Consumer Reports, Country Living, Eating Well, Good Housekeeping, Health, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Mayo Clinic Health Letter, Birds and Blooms, Country, Country Woman, Mother Earth News, Russian Life, People, and Time.
