New Titles at the Library:

Adult fiction selections added to our shelves include “Stone Cross” by Marc Cameron; “Genesis” by Robin Cook; “Before She Was Helen” by Caroline B. Cooney; “Deep, Deep Snow” by Brian Freemen; “The Enlightenment of Bees” by Rachel Linden; “A Feast for Crows” by George R. R. Martin; “The River Murders” by James Patterson; “Faithless in Death” by J. D. Robb; and “Accused” and “Feared” by Lisa Scottoline.

            New large print fiction titles are “Bronte’s Mistress” by Finola Austin; “Before She Disappeared” by Lisa Gardner; “Better Luck Next Time” by Junia Claiborne Johnson; “Deacon King Kong” by James McBride; “The View from Here” by Hannay McKinnon; “The Russian” by James Patterson; and a non-fiction title, also by James Patterson, “Walk in my Combat Boots: True Stories from America’s Bravest Warriors”.

            Some junior easy titles added include “Bug Soup; What’s in your Lunch?” by Vince Cleghorne; “Huffalots” by Eve Coy; “Llama, Llama Hippity-Hop” by Anna Dewdney; “Bug Collector” by Alex G. Griffiths; “My Mama” by Annemarie van Haeringen; and “Wolfboy” by Andy Harkenss.

            “Building Zaha: the story of architect Zaha Hadid” by Victoria Tentler-Krylov is a new junior biography.

            We have added a couple junior non-fiction series. One, by Allan Morey, has titles “When Your Friend is Lonely”, “When Your Friend is Sad”, When Your Friend is Scared”, “When Your Friend is Angry” and “When Your Friend is Excited”. Another, by Abby Colich, with titles “Celebrating All Abilities”, “Celebrating All Personalities”, “Celebrating All Religions”, “Celebrating All Appearances”, and “Celebrating All Families”, are part of the Celebrating our Communities series.

            New magazines this week include America Patchwork & Quilting, WWII History, Time, People, Natural History, North Dakota Living, National Geographic History, Consumer Reports, Family Handyman, Good Housekeeping, and Health.
