We have many new books in junior nonfiction and junior fiction and we will be highlighting those on our Facebook page this month.  One new series is “Upside Down Magic” by Sarah Mlynowski for Grades 3 through 7.  If you like mysteries and detective stories there are two new series.  One is Marty Frye Private Eye by Janet Tashjian, for grades 2 and 3.  We have the first three books in that series. Also new is the Friday Barnes:  Girl Detective series by R.A. Spratt for grades 3 and 4, about an 11 year old girl who solves crimes, similar to Sherlock Holmes.

Book Club for April is Tuesday, April 5 at 10:00 am.  The book is “The Truth According to Us” by Annie Barrows.

There are many new large print books in the last few months and they continue to come in, thanks to the North Dakota State Library Vision Grant that we received in November.  New titles in Large Print are “The Burning” by Jonathan Kellerman, “Trace of Doubt” by Diann Mills, “Blue Summer” by Jim Nichols, “Winter Kill” by Bill Brooks, “The Trainwreckers” by Sean Lynch.
