Library News July 29, 2022

Each year, public libraries are required to submit data to the North Dakota State Library through the Public Library Survey.  The State Library provided the Heart of America Library with a 2021 fact sheet.  This graphic page has been posted to Facebook and is hanging in the Library’s entry way.  Here are the 2021 statistics:

There are 2,636 registered users in our system, and there were 8,153 visits to the library in 2021.

The total number of items in the library’s collection is 83,650!  This includes physical books, audio and video items and downloadable audiobooks, e-books, and video.

Join us for the last “Oceans of Possibilities” summer story hour on Friday August 5 at 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM.  It is for children ages 5 years and under (children 3 or under must be attended by an adult).  Please call to let us know your child will be attending so we know how many to prepare for, if you have not signed them up already.
