Library News December 17, 2022

We hope everyone made it through the storm safely!

The library will be closed Saturday December 24 and Monday December 26. We will also be closed Saturday December 31 and Monday January 2.

Story hour will resume in January. Stay tuned for details. We also post them on our Facebook page and the weekly library article in the Pierce County Tribune.

The mitten tree is up for the 38 year at the library. We have received many generous donations already – Thank you! The donations of gloves, mittens, hats and scarves will be distributed to Rugby Schools, Little Flower School and Rolette School. The items are then given to children who need them.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Monday, January 9 at 9:00 AM in the library.

New in nonfiction titles are Baby Sign Language: A Fun & Simple Guide to Early Communication by Mary Smith, Kurashi at Home: How to Organize Your Space and Achieve Your Ideal Life by Marie Kondo, and Creating Hitler’s Germany: The Rise of Extremism by Tim Heath.

New titles in fiction are New Couple by Alison James, We All Want Impossible Things by Catherine Newman, The Choice by Nora Roberts, and Tick Tock by Fern Michaels.
